Fallsview Casino Resort

Niagara Falls, Ontario · overlooking the Horseshoe Falls

Fallsview does scale with a straight face — a sprawling Niagara gaming floor under one roof with a hotel tower, a theatre and a wall of restaurants, all perched so the Horseshoe Falls fill the window and light up after dark.

The casino

This is the big-floor experience turned up bright: acres of slots under high ceilings, a deep table pit, a poker room and a real charge on weekend nights. If you like a casino that feels like an event the moment you walk in, Fallsview delivers it at full volume.

The size is both the draw and the warning — it's genuinely exciting and can tip into overwhelming when it's packed. When you want the noise to fall away, climb to the higher-limit tables, where the room finally quietens down.

The rooms

The tower rooms are comfortable and modern, but the ones that matter are the Falls-view suites: floor-to-ceiling glass with the Horseshoe Falls thundering below, floodlit in colour after dark. That view is worth the upgrade on its own and then some.

City-view rooms are cheaper and perfectly decent, but you'll spend the stay quietly wishing you'd faced the water. Book the Falls side, ask for a high floor, and don't overthink it.

Dining & the extras

Dining runs from a buffet up to steak-and-seafood rooms, several sharing the same Falls view, and the on-site theatre lands genuinely big touring names. Shops and a spa fill out the rest, and the whole tourist strip is right at the door.

It's built for a lively couple's weekend rather than a quiet retreat — bright, busy and engineered to keep you inside and entertained. Lean into that and it's a brilliant night; fight it and you'll find it a lot.

Location & value

Ninety minutes from Toronto and set right on the Falls, it's the obvious big-night-out casino-hotel for southern Ontario. Value is strong midweek; weekends and peak season are frankly priced for the view.

Skip it if you want calm. Book it if you want the biggest, brightest casino night in the country with one of the world's great waterfalls glowing outside the glass.

Good to Know
  • Book a Falls-view room — the city-view rate saves money you'll regret saving.
  • Weeknights are far cheaper and far calmer than weekends.
  • Check the theatre listings before you book; a show turns a night into a full weekend.
  • Strictly 21+ — photo ID checked at the casino entrance.
  • This is an independent review, not a booking service; confirm rates and details with the hotel.
The Verdict

Come for the spectacle: an enormous, buzzing casino and a Falls-view room are a combination nothing else in Canada can match.
